Policies
I am a one woman show here, so timing is dependent on my current schedule :) Generally mascots take 10-12 weeks and other artwork would be determined case by case. I occasionally consider a RUSH order which does include a RUSH FEE since I have to shut down my schedule to other work to do this.
Free estimates (no technical sketch), 50% of total due before work begins, 50% due and cleared before shipping or delivery. Mascots have a one time design fee not applied to duplicates for you in the future. Technical sketches will not be done before design fee. Design fee is non-refundable.
I offer repairs/refurbishing at fair rates to you in the future to keep the work looking fantastic and working well for you!REFUNDS: Due to the nature of custom work and the materials being cut and utilized, I do not give refunds. You can be assured that you will absolutely receive what you have contracted me to make for you or what is in the description of the piece, if you are purchasing one of my existing pieces. If you are unsatisfied, please contact me and we can try to come to a solution that is fair to both of us.

I accept cash, or Paypal (Paypal accepts credit cards or checking transfers securely and you do not have to have an account with them yourself to do this) You just need to go to Paypal.com and follow prompts to send money to my acct: gypsycatstudios@sbcglobal.net.NO REAL SKINS, FURS OR FEATHERS WILL BE USED IN MY WORK.
Performance in Character or Teaching- hourly rate negotiable depending on the complexity, travel etc.

Before moving to California, I was Head Designer at one of the largest mascot and theatrical costume companies. I have the SAME suppliers and SAME materials as the big companies, and you are getting the SAME designer.
I am known for the quality and detail in my work.
I've created work for clients such as Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, Professional Dance companies and various corporate companies, zoo, and theme parks throughout the country. I have been creating my own freelance work internationally since 2007 with clients such as Ballet Met, Fairyland, San Francisco Zoo, and College of Circus Arts in Melbourne Australia.
