I am an experienced puppeteer, and I have also work in the theatrical and performance field for 13 years which allows me the insight needed to create custom puppets with life, character, emotion and movement needed for the role. My experience making mascots and foam work has allowed me to create giant but lightweight puppets for Ballet and theatre.
I have created several puppets and puppet collections for theatrical productions such as the Genie from Aladdin for Ballet Met, the dragon and Gingey from Shrek, The giant Rhino and all five bugs, which I also created matching costumes for their human counterparts, for James and the Giant Peach, The Tiamet 5 headed dragon with lighted eyes for She Kills Monsters, a Collection of Mrs, Potts, Lumiere, Chip, Babbette, Cogsworth for Beauty and the Beast. * I have also created these characters in the full size built mascot type versions. I also created an 8 ft Giant head for Jack n Phil the Giant Slayers as well as the beautiful harp lady and the chicken. For Squirrell Girl Goes to College, I created the lively squirrell sidekick, Tippy Toe. For the Adams Family, I created the monster under the bed.
