Mixed Media Sculpture with often an emphasis on textiles.
My work is somewhat narrative and inspired by a wide range of experiences, animals ( including the human animal), behaviors, nature, colors, textures, travel, art, culture, performance, and research. My work can be made of textiles, found objects, welded metal frames, clays, foam, wood, upcycled items, but never animal skins, feathers, fur or bones. I am a cruelty free designer. Custom work is considered. Contact the artist I am constantly working to find and use even more up cycled and environmentally friendly products in my work . Many of my textile sculptures are made of upcycled fabrics, objects and a non toxic, environmentally friendly fabric hardening agent called Powertex.
