With a Bachelors Degree in Art and Design, a Masters Degree in Fine Art and Sculpture, and 20 years of theatrical experience, I have been teaching art or theatre related subjects to students 8- adult in Ohio and California from Middle School through College University level (most recent).
I have taught at The Ohio State University -Intro to Costume Design and Puppetry, Fall 2023, private classes, many theater programs, camps and workshops, High School, guest artist events/demos , Girls Inc., and Guest Designer at Dennison University. This includes sculpture, sewing, costume design, prop making, mural art, puppetry and puppet making, theatrical makeup, airbrush makeup, haunt makeup and zombie prosthetics. I am teaching Mixed Media Sculpture using textiles, mixed media and Powertex textile medium this year and also hoping to do travelling classes throughout the country as well . I offer Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced , as well as private lessons, themed classes such as most recently Day of the Dead figure for Latino Arts for Humanity. Also, small private groups can be scheduled with me as well. Also schools, recreation centers and Universities. I am open to considering other venues that may want to host my classes as well.
